Amanda Gorman was named the nation’s First Youth Poet Laureate at 19. Now at 22, she is delivering her authentic composition, “The Hill We Climb” on the 59th presidential inauguration because the youngest identified inaugural poet. Gorman, who has carried out 5 commissioned poems for “CBS This Morning” previously, tells Anthony Mason about writing a poem for this second, her preparation for large performances and the way poetry helped her overcome a speech obstacle.
